An opportunity awaits two motivated undergraduates to develop their knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) in a busy graphic design, pre-press and print production environment. You will build on your existing knowledge of the software, developing real world knowledge, skills and understanding unobtainable in any other environment. These tools will help you in future studies and will stand you in good stead for employment in the graphic design, print and media industries.

The position is a full-time paid role during between late May and August and involves processing client supplied artwork, creating new content in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as updating previous files. The team take great pride in delivering first rate service and market leading products, so we are looking for someone who can work diligently, to deadlines and pay attention to detail.

Training will take place prior to starting work on live jobs and support and guidance will be available throughout from experienced professionals to ensure that the benefits from the placement are mutual.

We run this programme every year, previous participants have benefited from vastly improved technical knowledge which has led them to progress better in their studies and assisted them in gaining employment in respected agencies on graduation.

Pay: £8.00 per hour

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (plus overtime as required)

Length of contract: 10 to 16 weeks as required
