Decoration Options

The most popular customisation options are screen printing, embroidery and individual names (vinyl cut-outs or embroidered).  Having said that, there are all sorts of options available, so whatever your requirements, our advisors will help you to choose the right options for any given purpose.

Screen printing is great for covering large areas, such as a large image on the back of a garment but is slightly limited by the fact that it is not possible to screen print gradients or half tones of colours.  Most customers opt for a simple single colour print but multiple colour print is not a problem and can be used to really great effect.  Screen print can also be used as an alternative to embroidery for simple logos, especially on lighter weight garments where large areas of embroidery would be too heavy.

Embroidery is ideal for smaller areas of customisation involving multiple colours, such as logos on the chest area of a garment.  There is no additional cost for multiple colours so really vibrant and detailed designs are no problem.  Embroidery can be used for larger areas, however it is a slower and more costly process than screen printing.

Individual names can be applied in two ways, the most popular method being cut vinyl lettering where the text is cut out of a vinyl sheet by computer.  This allows for large bold personalisation, such as across the shoulders of the garment.  For smaller areas, for example below a logo on the front, embroidered personalisation is also an additional cost option.

We also offer full colour printed transfers where the image is printed onto a sheet and heat sealed to the garment, this allows for far more detail and colour than a screen printed image and can be computer cut to great effect.
